In this tutorial, you will learn how to add new line in excel using shortcuts.

Steps

  • Select the target cell and go to the formula bar.

  • Type word and press Alt+Enter key if you need a newline and press ok.

Result Before Update

  • Select the target cell and type the word

  • Expand the formula bar, Press Alt + Ctrl when you need a new line, then the formula bar will add the new line automatically like the screenshot below
